The Talprid Mole Trap is safe and easy to use.  Using a spade the way the video directs, place the trap jaws in an active mole tunnel and step on the trap's yellow foot pedal, which sets the trigger below the surface.  If you force the trap into the dirt without using a spade as directed, it could cause breakage.  The trap's low profile allows it to sit close to the level of the ground.  When the trap is triggered, the yellow foot pedal springs up notifying you of the kill.  The thing we love about the Talpirid Mole Trap is that it can be safely disengaged and relocated to other mole tunnels, depending on the severity of the infestation.
